International Association of Mediterranean Linguistics

The School has been organized with the collaboration of the International Association of Mediterranean Linguistics (IAML), which was founded in 2009 by the Universities of Bremen, Cagliari, and Malta.

The IAML’s institutional aim is to promote research into the languages and linguistics of the Mediterranean, from both a synchronic and diachronic perspective, and to further interdisciplinary exchange between the conterminous disciplines (such as philology, history, human geography, etc.) which study the Mediterranean region.
