Prof. Amina Mettouchi is Directeur d’Etudes in Berber Linguistics at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes.

Her main research topics cover aspect, mood, negation and reference in Berber, the interaction between prosody, information structure and syntax in Kabyl, the role of corpora in cross-linguistic research and grammaticalization and comparative Berber morphosyntax.
